Hands-on Demonstrations provide an exciting opportunity to experience the latest developments in haptic technology and interactions. Short proposals for hands-on demonstrations can be submitted via OCS system by March 5, 11:59 pm CET.
Each submission must include a short abstract of approximately 100 words, an image describing the demonstration, a mock-up diagram to be used for space planning, and the list of technical requirements (e.g., number of tables, number of electricity plugs, etc.) that the organizers should provide for your demo. Including a hyperlink to a short video clip presenting the demonstration is highly encouraged but not required. Note that hands-on demos should not have commercial content in focus. Companies wishing to showcase their product should refer to our sponsorship and exhibits options.
Submissions are reviewed for relevance and quality. Hands-on demonstrations can be related to a full paper or WIP submission to EuroHaptics 2022, but can also be submitted independently. Feel free to get in contact with the Demo Chair Wiliam Frier with any questions. Demonstrations will be displayed during a demo session on one or more of the conference days.
Presentation
At least one author of an accepted demo is expected to register for the conference and to be present in person to present their work. To find more details about the presentation format, please refer to the Presentation Instructions.
